Dr. Costas Constandinides is Assistant Prof. in the Department of Communications at The University of Nicosia, Cyprus. He is a member of the Film Selection Committee of Cyprus Film Days (Film Festival organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and Rialto Theatre); member of the Script Evaluation Subcommittee of the Cyprus Cinema Advisory Committee, Ministry of Education and Culture; Founding member of Rooftop Theatre Group.
He is the author of 'From Film Adaptation to Post-celluloid Adaptation: Rethinking the Transition of Popular Narratives and Characters across Old and New Media.' New York/London: Continuum, 2010.
Graduate studies at the University of Reading, UK (MA Film and Theatre, 2003; PhD Film Adaptation, 2007) and undergraduate studies at the University of Cyprus (B.A in English Literature and Linguistics, 2002)
